Baltic Farm Photo Contest 2011
I AM Photographer, Estonian Farmers Federation, Latvian Agricultural Organization Cooperation Council (LAOCC), Latvian Farmers Parliament (LFP) and Lithuanian Farmers' Union are organizing pan-Baltic photography contest Baltic Farm Photograph 2011.
Contest sponsor is Nikon.
Goal: Invite professional and amateur photographers to capture moments in the theme mentioned above. After the competition has ended, an exhibition of 25 best pictures is put up in each country to introduce the farm life of the Baltic States through the photos.
Contest period: 1st of September to 3rd of October 2011
Contest takes place in three categories:
- Farm life
- Farm landscape
- Farmer portrait
The Grand Prix Baltic Farm Photograph 2011 will be chosen among the three Baltic Farm Photograph 2011 categories. The prize of the Grand Prix Baltic Farm Photograph 2011 is photography kit: Nikon D7000 kit 18-200mm VR II.
Special prizes for the winners of all sub-categories. Three best works of each category shall be honorably mentioned.
Special prizes for the best Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian farm photo.
Contest participation is free. Jury will choose 25 best photographs wich will be on final judging in Riga 5th of November 2011. Authors of those photos will get free ticket to the final gala event in Riga on 5th of November 2011 evening.
We recommend to attend also in Baltic Nature Photograph 2011 contest and pay participation fee 25 EUR, then this fee includes contest and nature photo conference participation fee and attendance in the final gala event in Riga on 4th and 5th of November 2011. During the days all interested people can follow the work of the jury in evaluating the works, listen to the lectures in conference and participate in the awarding ceremony. Number of submitted images is limited with 10 pictures per photographer.
We are organizing the transport from Tallinn to Riga and from Vilnius to Riga and back. If you are interested to use our organized transport, please, order your seat when You upload Your pictures. Cost per person is 5 EUR.
